This is a Wildlife African Safari starting from Nairobi to Amboseli National Park – home of great great herds of free ranging elephants, giraffe, cheetah, zebra, and wildebeest. From Amboseli you will drive to Lake Nakuru via Nairobi, Lake Nakuru is home to wildlife like the rhinos and flamingos and other wildlife, The Nairobi Kenya wildlife safari proceeds to the Maasai Mara the great home of wildlife species including – zebra, antelope, buffalo, wildebeest, hyena, etc.

Day 1: Nairobi – Amboseli

Depart from your Nairobi hotel by road to Amboseli National Park. Safari game drive viewing wildlife en-route to your lodge.

Amboseli is home to more than 420 species of birds and has enormous Elephant population and other big game attracted to the area by underground springs fed from the melting snows of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Lunch is served at the lodge, before departing for an afternoon wildlife viewing safari game drive. Return to the lodge and enjoy a scrumptious dinner. Overnight at your Amboseli safari camp or lodge.

Day 2: Amboseli

Early morning safari game drive with chances of good views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the summit and also chances to see a multitude of wildlife, including everything from Wildebeest to Giraffes to Baboons. Return to your safari lodge for breakfast. Today you will go out again for an afternoon game drive to see more wildlife. Dinner and overnight at your Amboseli safari camp or lodge.

Optional and extra cost, visit to a Maasai village is planned after breakfast or you may go for an early morning balloon safari.

Day 3: Amboseli – Lake Nakuru

Depart Amboseli after breakfast and proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park via Nairobi with en-route lunch. Arrive in Lake Nakuru National Park in time for an afternoon game drive, on which we can expect to see buffalo, rhino, giraffe, zebra, antelope and the lions that prey on them as well as vast flocks of flamingos clustered near the lake shore.

Lake Nakuru is famous for having the highest concentration of flamingos in the world and is home to over three hundred bird species. It is a sanctuary for both the Black and White Rhinos. Also found in plenty are zebras, waterbucks, buffaloes and warthogs. Leopards are sometimes seen sleeping on the horizontal branches of the “Fever trees”.

Dinner and overnight at a Lake Nakuru Lodge or safari camp

Day 4: Nakuru – Maasai Mara

After breakfast, depart Lake Nakuru for Maasai Mara Game Reserve. Travel through the Maasai country occasionally coming across Maasai herdsmen with their livestock living harmoniously with the wildlife. Afternoon wildlife safari game drive after lunch at your Masai Mata safari lodge or camp.

In Maasai Mara we will find the Old Africa of the movies, with rolling grasslands dotted by acacia trees and sweeping plains teeming with Wildlife.

Dinner and overnight at your safari camp or lodge in Maasai Mara.

Day 5: Maasai Mara

Morning and afternoon game drives to marvel at the abundant wildlife of the Masai Mara. This African safari destination is famous for the Annual Wildebeest Migration that takes place between the months of July and October. During this time over a million wildebeests accompanied by thousands of other herbivores, migrate from Serengeti National Park to the Mara in search for greener pastures. Hundreds of lions and hyenas follow them picking on the old and weaker ones. The legendary black mane lion is only found in Masai Mara. The cheetah hunts best in these open grasslands.

Dinner and overnight at your safari camp or lodge in Maasai Mara.

Day 6: Maasai Mara – Nairobi

An early morning game drive to view African wildlife then return to your camp or lodge for breakfast. After breakfast drive back to Nairobi Nairobi through the great Rift Valley making stop at vantage viewing points. Arrivew Nairobi in the afternoon and end your safari.
