The Masai Mara is Kenya’s finest and most outstanding wildlife sanctuary where gentle rolling grassland ensures animals are never out of sight. Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara

This morning we drive through the dramatic Great Rift Valley to the Masai Mara National Reserve. This enormous reserve is actually part of the vast Serengeti plains famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest’s migration and is home of the Big Five: Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo and Rhino. Lunch at our Lodge and relax before departing for the afternoon game run. The Mara Game Reserve–one of the greatest wildernesses of the world. Large mammals are varied, and easy to see. Residents among the Park’s are: Masai Giraffe, Buffalo, Eland and thousand of plain game including Impala, Zebra, Topi, both Thomson’s and grants Gazelles. Overnight at Sarova Tented Camp or Siana Tented Camp or Mara Simba Lodge

Day 2: Masai Mara

The search for great predators and perhaps even cubs continues today during extensive game runs. On the plains are enormous herds of grazing animals plus the elusive Cheetah and leopard hiding amidst acacia boughs. During our stay we also have an optional opportunity to visit a village of the Masai people to witness the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a poignant experience. Overnight at Sarova Tented Camp or Siana Tented Camp or Mara Simba Lodge

Day 3: Masai Mara – Nairobi

Early morning tea / coffee or Hot chocolate, then depart for a morning ‘Spice’ game drive. Here we find the Old Africa of the movies, with rolling grasslands dotted by acacia trees and sweeping plains teeming with wildlife. No matter how much you have thought about Africa, this is more than you expected—and the ideal backdrop for a hot air balloon expedition. After a full English breakfast back at the camp or Lodge, depart for Nairobi by road.

Today we travel to the exotic Lake Nakuru National Park located in the Great Rift Valley. After lunch an exciting game run is planned for the afternoon. The game in this Park is plentiful and the magnificent bird watching will make a devotee out of even the most reluctant. The Park is a home to stunning flocks of lesser and Greater Flamingos, which literally turn the lakeshores in to a magnificent pink stretch. The bird life here is world renown and over 400 bird’s species exist here, White Pelicans, Plovers, Egrets and Marabou Stork. It is also one of the very few places in Africa to see the White Rhino and rare Rothschild Giraffe. Overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge or Sarova Lion hill Lodge

Day 4: Lake Nakuru – Nairobi

Depart after breakfast with a game drive en-route to Nairobi arriving at lunchtime. Connect with one of our other exciting safari packages. Your choice of – the exotic Samburu Game Reserve, Amboseli National Park (known as the Elephant country), perhaps a climb up Mt. Kilimanjaro, or relax on the clean white sandy beaches of Mombasa Island along the warm Indian Ocean, are some of the wonderful options available. Day 1: Nairobi – Amboseli

Our safari driver guide will pick you from your Nairobi hotel and depart by road through the scenic Athi Plains and into the bush country of Amboseli National Park, home to the legendary Maasai tribesmen and famous for huge herds of Elephant. Arrive in time for lunch at your Amboseli safari camp or lodge, followed by a short rest

At 4.00pm you will venture in to the Amboseli plains for an afternoon safari game drive trying to spot the rich African wildlife of Amboseli including Elephant, Antelope, Zebra, Wildebeest, Buffalo and the elusive Leopard.

Every vista within Amboseli is framed by majestic Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance. Dinner and overnight at your Amboseli safari camp or lodge.

Day 2: Amboseli

After breakfast head for the park for a full day of game viewing. Lunch is served at the park where your driver/guide will locate the perfect spot for your picnic. More game viewing after lunch. Dinner and overnight at your safari camp or Lodge in Amboseli.

Optional activities while on your Nairobi to Amboseli safari include a visit to a Masai village. The Masai are a nomadic tribe whose legendary prowess in battle and single-handed acts of bravery in fights with the wild animals are known across the world. A visit reveals the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a poignant experience.

You may also engage in an early morning balloon safari.

Day 3: Amboseli – Lake Nakuru

Your day starts with an early morning game drive and breakfast before heading to Lake Nakuru. This is a long trip and you will stop at Nairobi for lunch at a Nairobi hotel before continuing with your journey to Lake Nakuru. Arrive at the lodge in time for a short nap and refreshments before your afternoon game drive. Overnight at lake Elementaita lodge.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru

Full day in the bird world. Today you spend the whole day watching the magnificent views of lake Nakuru and discover why its known as the pink lake. You have never seen so many birds fly in unison like this beauties. Visits to lake Baringo and Bogoria and returning to the lodge in the late afternoon.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru -Samburu

We have an early breakfast and check-out as today we head to the unspoiled wild of Samburu. Since this is a long journey, we do our game drive en-route to Samburu. Going through the semi-arid areas of Isolo we stop shortly for refreshments and lunch. We proceed on our journey while doing an en-route game viewing as we enter Samburu game reserve. We arrive at our base in time for relaxation and dinner.

Day 6: Samburu

A whole day of game viewing with lunch at the park.

Day 7: Samburu – Nairobi

Today is the last day of your safari and you head to Nairobi after breakfast and morning game drive stopping at designated points for refreshments and photo shots. Arrive in Nairobi late afternoon where you will be transferred to the airport for your onward international flight.

Day 1: Nairobi – Aberdare (Treetops Lodge)

Depart Nairobi after breakfast .Our destination today is the Aberdare National Park. We stop for lunch at The Aberdare Country Club, nestled on the slopes of Mweiga Hill. After high lunch, set off for the Ark tree lodge, located in the forest on mountain slopes of the Aberdare Mountains at 7,000 feet. This outstanding lodge offers high altitude game viewing, including animals that are rarely encountered elsewhere: Giant forest hog, Bush Pig, Tree Hyrax, Large Spotted Genet, and the elusive Bongo Antelope.

Wildlife can be observed from different levels – and from outside where you can see, hear and smell everything and inside where you can sit with a cup of tea and stay warm and cozy. You can put in a request to be awakened during the night if your favorite animals show up. A herd of Elephants might be just feet away and if you are lucky, a Leopard or large male Lion might put in an appearance. Overnight at the Ark or Treetops Lodge or the Serena Mountain Lodge

Day 2: Aberdare (Treetops Lodge) – Lake Nakuru

This morning we depart Nairobi by road and proceed to Lake Nakuru Park, regarded by avid birders’ as the greatest World ornithological spectacle on the Earth. The Park is famous for its millions of pink flamingoes lining on the lake shore. We arrive mid morning at Lake Nakuru for a game drive en route before checking-in at your Lodge for Lunch. A spectacular afternoon game run is planned. The Park is also Sanctuary to the Black Rhino, White Rhino and the Rothschild Giraffe. Bird life include common species like the lesser and Greater Flamingoes, African fish Eagle, Tawny Eagle, Green Wood Hoopoes, Cliff Chat, Great White and Pink Backed Pelicans plus other intra- African Migrants. Day 2: Amboseli

Early morning safari game drive with chances of good views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the summit and also chances to see a multitude of wildlife, including everything from Wildebeest to Giraffes to Baboons. Return to your safari lodge for breakfast. Today you will go out again for an afternoon game drive to see more wildlife. Dinner and overnight at your Amboseli safari camp or lodge.

Optional and extra cost, visit to a Maasai village is planned after breakfast or you may go for an early morning balloon safari.

Day 3: Amboseli – Lake Nakuru

Depart Amboseli after breakfast and proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park via Nairobi with en-route lunch. Arrive in Lake Nakuru National Park in time for an afternoon game drive, on which we can expect to see buffalo, rhino, giraffe, zebra, antelope and the lions that prey on them as well as vast flocks of flamingos clustered near the lake shore.

Lake Nakuru is famous for having the highest concentration of flamingos in the world and is home to over three hundred bird species. It is a sanctuary for both the Black and White Rhinos. Also found in plenty are zebras, waterbucks, buffaloes and warthogs. Leopards are sometimes seen sleeping on the horizontal branches of the “Fever trees”.

Day 4: Nakuru – Maasai Mara

After breakfast, depart Lake Nakuru for Maasai Mara Game Reserve. Travel through the Maasai country occasionally coming across Maasai herdsmen with their livestock living harmoniously with the wildlife. Afternoon wildlife safari game drive after lunch at your Masai Mata safari lodge or camp.

In Maasai Mara we will find the Old Africa of the movies, with rolling grasslands dotted by acacia trees and sweeping plains teeming with Wildlife.

Day 5: Maasai Mara

Morning and afternoon game drives to marvel at the abundant wildlife of the Masai Mara. This African safari destination is famous for the Annual Wildebeest Migration that takes place between the months of July and October. During this time over a million wildebeests accompanied by thousands of other herbivores, migrate from Serengeti National Park to the Mara in search for greener pastures. Hundreds of lions and hyenas follow them picking on the old and weaker ones. The legendary black mane lion is only found in Masai Mara. The cheetah hunts best in these open grasslands.

Dinner and overnight at your safari camp or lodge in Maasai Mara.

Day 6: Maasai Mara – Nairobi

An early morning game drive to view African wildlife then return to your camp or lodge for breakfast. After breakfast drive back to Nairobi Nairobi through the great Rift Valley making stop at vantage viewing points. Arrivew Nairobi in the afternoon and end your safari.

We arrive in time for lunch at our lodge by the lake and early afternoon, we take an optional boat ride. Alternatively, a nature walk at Crescent Island is an excellent way to see wild animals while on foot. The Island is a private game sanctuary, which is home to zebra, wildebeest, gazelle, Vervet monkeys, hares, genet cats, waterbuck and giraffe. Or you may wish to lounge by the pool admiring the view of zebras, Giraffes and waterbuck just outside the fence. Overnight at Lake Naivasha Simba Lodge or Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge

Day 3: Lake Naivasha – Maasai Mara

Depart Lake Naivasha for Maasai Mara Game Reserve–jewel of Kenya’s Game Park. This enormous Reserve actually part of the vast Serengeti plains is famously known for it’s spectacular great wildebeest migration and is a true home of the big five-Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Rhino and Cape Buffalo.

Day 4: Maasai Mara Game Reserve

The Masai Mara is one of the greatest wildernesses of the world. Morning and afternoon safari game drives to see the abundant wildlife of the Maasai Mara.
