Our Nairobi Safari begin with a tour of the spectacular Amboseli National Park. Romantically situated in the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro, Amboseli is famous for its tremendous variety of big game. Our Nairobi safari next stop is a sheltered oasis Tsavo West National Park, with attractions including Mzima Springs & underwater hippo watching, Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary among others. Tsavo National Park is unique and its habitat include open plains alternating with Savannah bush and semi desert scrub, acacia woodlands; rocky ridges and outcrops and more extensive ranges and isolated hills; belts of riverine vegetation; palm thickets and mountain forest.

Day 1: Nairobi – Amboseli

Drive across the Athi plains to Amboseli National Park arriving in time for lunch at your Amboseli Safari camp or Lodge. An afternoon Safari game drive to enjoy the splendours of Amboseli national park. In addition to elephant, antelope, zebra, wildebeest, buffalo and the elusive leopard, nearly every vista within Amboseli is framed by majestic Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance. Dinner and overnight at a safari lodge or camp in Amboseli.

Day 2: Amboseli –Tsavo West

On the second day of our Nairobi to Tsavo West and Amboseli safari we journey on (safari) to Tsavo West. We begin the day with an early morning breakfast then safari game drive in Amboseli with an optional visit to a Maasai Village before you depart for Tsavo West National Park. Enter Tsavo West through the Chyulu gate and proceed with safari game drive to the Mzima Springs – a sparkling oasis of crystal-clear pools home to hippos, crocodile and fish which can be seen from an underground tank. A nature trail loops through the dense indigenous forest and around the springs, offering information on flora, viewing stations and picnic areas. Proceed to your safari lodge/camp for check-in and lunch, an afternoon Safari game visiting the Tsavo West Rhino Sanctuary. Dinner and overnight at your Tsavo West Safari Camp or Lodge.

Tsavo West National Park covers 20,808sq km (8,034sq miles), The Park comprises a diversity of habitats, open plains alternating with savannah bush and semi-desert scrub; acacia woodlands; rocky ridges and outcrops. With a permanent water source, the park is virtually guaranteed enormous herds and excellent game viewing including Cheetah, Lion, Leopard and Hyena and huge herds of Elephants.

Day 3: Tsavo West – Nairobi

After an early morning Safari game drive in Tsavo West and breakfast, depart for your return journey to Nairobi arriving early afternoon. Connect with one of our other exciting safari packages. Your choice of – the exotic Samburu Game Reserve, the world famous Maasai Mara Game Reserve (also known as the eighth wonder of the world) or safari to Lake Nakuru – the Bird watchers paradise, or relax on the clean white sandy beaches of Mombasa Island along the warm Indian Ocean, are some of the wonderful options available.
