Game viewing extravaganza! Whatever pundits say, the Masai
Mara eco-system remains the single most exciting wildlife
destination in the world. The reserve is home to the highest
concentration of wild animals per sq. km. than any other park in
the region. Masai Mara game reserve is simply a one-stop shop
for game viewing activities. We transverse the reserve on
unlimited game viewing drives in search of the big five and more
species of the lesser game. Our mid-day meals will either be
picnics or at base.
Last day in Masai Mara we start at dawn to catch the sunrise
and the early hunters and grazers. We return to our base for
breakfast. A mid-morning wrap-up drive followed by an early
lunch. We depart Masai Mara and proceed to Lake Nakuru stopping
briefly to view Lakes Naivasha and Elementaita. Arrival at our
destination the late afternoon. Time permitting we do a short
drive around the lake.
After breakfast we head to the great Rift Valley passing
through Narok where we make a quick stop for refreshments .

millions of flamingos that color the lake shore. More than
300,000 flamingos can be spotted at any one given time. Hundreds
of thousand of flamingoes canopy the shallow edges of the lake
while pelicans and hundreds of other bird species mingle. The
adjacent park hosts both the black and white rhinos together
with warthogs, antelopes, baboons and many more animal species.
We depart for Samburu game reserve on the most scenic and
dramatic road journeys of our safari. Through the Rift Valley,
past the highlands. Lunch will be at the Thomson Falls where we
are soothed by the roaring of the waterfall. We proceed with our
journey to arrive in Samburu in the late afternoon. Meals and
